A very TaiChi & Calligraphy trip for me in 2009

What a day today!
Lots of overseas friends came in my english blog,
it's real surprise me !!@@

Actually I have a plan in 2009 to go overseas for my very taichi & calligraphy trip.^^
My staying might be in Sweden and New York.

Last year I went there not just for sightseeing but also taught some taichi and calligraphy courses,to introduce the very traditional style and modern style I really enjoy that the different ways.

In 2009,
it must be a great year to go so far because I have an developing studio(for three )in Taiwan,
and have six assistants work with me,
and have near by 60 students follow me.

If I go overseas,
they will help me to do my job well in Taiwan,
and keep on going for their learning,
and wait for me to come back.^^

Basicly I love to invite some friends in overseas to join our online competiton in 2009,
Some foreign students I teach will have the right to join us for free,
and the first place will get the check equal or up to 1000 NT dollars.
(the prize's high which depand on the time we could be how large group in Taiwan or in the whole world.^^
bigger and getting higher prize for you.)

So,
New York is such a wanderland for me all the time,
Sweden is my best friend staying in and I really love to come again.

Where is the third choice for me to stay?

England?

Paris?

Spain?

I have no idea where has someone need me to come,

for taichi and calligraphy learners,

for health finder,

for chinese crazier

Weakness v.s. strong

In the way for taichi and calligraphy learning,

you always forced to face your constant weakness(習性).



You are no place to hide,

when you put all your mind on the pen brush or your body to follow the character's line or body's form,

you have to try lots of challenge by follow the master they did before

and face the truth "why can't I do like that!!"



You might feel sad,depressed,so failure,angry,disappointed,

all negative emotion around you,

I really understand that.



That would be not bad for you,right?

just in the paper,not in your real life.^^

Just happen before you sick, not breakdown your body and life after.



But,

please keep on going,

don't escape at this point,

if you try it again and again,

you will stride across it later.



Not to face,not find the new "you".



(The very keypoint is,

you always need a good teacher to companion with you,

on the begining.

You really need some helpness and know where is the way to go......)



By that,you are getting stronger ~ someday.

Firework

Yesterday I made sure one thing-
will not be the special guest at 12/5/2008,in the martial art novel competition party,
by me.

It's not my hope for,
but ok for me,
I could accept the result,whatever the winner will be anyone else.^^

Actually I felt a little bit relax for the result to know before the party start,
and still very thank you for the orginizar to invite me to come.
A very honor had deeply in my heart for having the chance to be the martial art novel competitioner once in my life,
I just was a novice,and wish learn something more ,
to be a great novelist in the future that's I really hope for.

To to the normal guest not so special is not bad for me,
I eager to learn something new from the international competition party,
and very happy for the winner to be done.

I have my way to go.....

but it must be a very unforgetable firwork in my life.

Recently I forcused on one thing to prepare for-
the 4th martial art novel competition in Taiwan by TOMORROW STUDIO.(明日工作室)

How lucky I am,
I have been to be a nomination and invited to join the show on this Friday afternoon in Taipei.

Actually I was not a professional novelist in my career,
just to make a dream come true along my father did before.
He wrote a martial art novel when he was a single person,
before met my mom to get married.
It was an unfinished piece in his life,
never did that again when he became a father.

We knew that after he die so far and found the piece lay under his drawer-very deeply.
Read it and miss him is not enough for me to do,
I decided to write down this unfinished handed novel in my chinese blog at the Father's Day in 2006,
but I was too busy to do that very soon,and almost delayed it all the time.

After two year behind,
just a chance to see the news in the webnews to know the martial art novel competition will come soon in 2008 spring(May),
to know the all rules are suitable for me to compete,
I decided to go.

Now,
at 5th December 2008,this Friday,
I will join the show for competing the winner to win the prize about One million dollars NT,
How awesome for that!!

Wish I will be the very lucky guy to win .^_____________^

Recently I always thought about the status who do taichi chuan and calligraphy very deeply in their mind-the consciousness must be.

You know,
"thinking nothing" is not a easy way to go,
we always put lots of stuff in our mind-
money,relationship,future,past....and so on,
all the time.

But when you do taichi and calligraphy,
step by step,
you have to let everything go,
and just focus by "now"-
the taichi posture how to follow next by next,
the character how to write line by line,
and beside the awareness of breath in and out,
you will have the consciousness on your own,
not outside world,
just inside yours.


It's the really relax paradise for human being......

I followed the way to go

Recently I wrote the calligraphy with the "Lian Ting Shu"(蘭亭序) several times,

not the ancient piece by Wang Xi-Zi(王羲之),

is the modern one by Fang Wen-Sen(方文山).

It is a beautiful poem about love,

the first time has the connection with the calligraphy in the popular song in Taiwan,

I really feel exciting.^^

I like the song,the poem a lot when I wrote it once and once again.

But I did a wrong thing for that,

I felt down in the moment when I was writing.

Almost be the girl by the poem saying.

Wow,that's not my wandering,

was an accident beside my plan.

Anyway,

it might be not the wrong thing for me even I was not really like to be the girl in the poem,

but it helped me to combine with the love story closer.

After writing,me is still me,

just like a dream.^^

it was made by the number one song-maker in Taiwan who's name is
Fung Wen-Shen(方文山).
And this newest song is created by our "the number one Sing style of ancient calligraphy wrote by Wang Xi-Ze(王羲之)~it's name is as the same as the piece of calligraphy-Lian Ting Su 蘭亭序".

Ths singer is the most famous popular singer in Taiwan-Jay Chou(周杰倫).

Push Hand

Learning TaiChi,we always need to know something about Push Hand.

It means the application for TaiChi rule.

We knew TaiChi not only a set of concepts but also a rule for fighting well.

Not only for the health of body and mind,

but also good to know how to protect the human being against the attack.

I'm not very good at the push hand skill,

just knowing the principle,

but it's enough for me.^^

But in Taiwan,we have some active teams for doing push hand well-

[ TC-Touch ] find a new way to go on

Lots of people lost their jobs recently all over the world,
what do you think?
Someone asked me.

I said,
I feel so optimistic.^^

Why?
The first of all,I do not live by them(money games).
I live depend on my special skill-taichi,calligraphy,and psychology,design work,
and they make me be the one who own healthy and happiness.

The second is,
What choas the world becoming to,
people need to find more strengh from stable- whatever body or mind,
they need us more,
absolutely.

The third is,
I feel lots of responsibility on my own to do more about taichi and calligraphy works,
to help people find a new way to go on,
a new life to live.
"TC-Touch"might be the good idea to do so.

T means TaiChi
C means Calligraphy
Touch means a course,a program,not so long,short time learning process to know about that.

[TC-Touch] is what I think now,
mightbe start in New York -the biggest apple - is great.^^

Training and Show off

TaiChi Chuan training people not only musle strengh but also mind concentrating,

after long training,

to be show off on the competition.

Be a great taichi competitioner,

trained by some methods for body and mind relaxing,

body extending,

mind concentrating,

quiet thinking,

the center of gravity holding,

and so on.

The training process make people good at their body and mind,

it's why they love taichi training,

and show off themselves after training

also good for the growing up of their self-confidence,self-recognize,self-challenge,etc.

Last week I went to the National Palace Museum in Taipei to see the masterpieces of calligraphy.





The masterpieces are great,but........





No lighten room,


no photo,


no directly view(the glass cut off between us)


no translation for kids,


no english for foreigners,


I don't know-how to make the calligraphy art become "popular"?





No way to go?


or just


no trying to do more?



It's the time to do more,

It's a very famous museum all over the world in Taiwan

The National Palace Museum

Stored the most of the chinese art works outstanding the world.

The exhebition of Masterpieces of Chin and T'ang Dynasty Calligraphy

recently opened in the NPM,

formal time to open is 10/10/2008 till 11/20/2008

show the very masters in our history for the chinese calligraphy,

including the No.1 Xing-Su "Lan Ting Xu" by Wan Hsi-chih,

and lots of calligraphy treasure.

I went to see them yesterday,

fulled of emotion in my heart......

The Japanese calligrapher exhebition in Taipei

A famous Japanese calligrapher exhebition in Taipei recently,

I went there to learn something new.

What's the different calligraphy style between Taiwan and Japan?

I can't say that clear,

because holding the pen brush you could do anything you like to do,

no matter your country it is.

But I think it's good news to see lots of pieces from Japanese calligrapher,

they all creatived their own style,

so unique,so special.

The interesting is,they all came from one little stuff's work -

the pen bruth.

Why we need to have the taichi-calligraphy modern image?
Not to defence the traditional way,
just to discovery the "multi-" way to go.

For the kids,
they felt a long distance with the traditional taichi and calligraphy,
not just taiwanese,
chinese is the same.

Maybe we need to make a small step for them,
and for non-chinese,
because the taichi and calligraphy are so glaring in our culture and history,
they are our treasure,right?

Typhoon hate the Higher mountain and deepen sea ^^

You know,
we had the typhoon holiday today-on the sunday.^^(Mightbe tomorrow be the same ~cool @@)

My US friends came to Taipei ever faced the typhoon before and told me-
How aweful the heavy rain and the windy hard was!!
Yes.
It's the real Taiwan,you got it.^_^


Whatever the typhoon made taiwanese so unstable in their routine life,
but,sometimes we love them ~ incredible!
Because it broke the rule for earning money everyday from sunrise to sunset,
when the biggest typhoon came,
all we could do was just stayed in our home,
slepy all day long,ate lots of food,
watched TV,
played lots of games(online games,or Ma-Jiang ~a traditional game on the table for four person.)
when the typhoon became weak,
went to the department store,shopping mall,
even went to the theater-
it's all the typhoon holiday we did.


I think the typhoon always hates the higher mountain and deepen sea in Taiwan.^^
It will be breakdown when it pass Taiwan island,
and getting weaker all the time.
But,
we love the holiday it takes to us,
just don't damage too much,please.
clean more is great,
clean the small island,
clean our unconsciousness mind from the routine and full of something life.......

What's the connection with TaiChi and Calligraphy?

When I taught taichi and calligrphy after the course in Sweden 2008,they asked me like that~
"What's the connection with TaiChi and Calligraphy?"

Actually,everybody so interested in this subject I did-
not only Swedish but also Taiwanese and Chinese.^^
I said it's a really huge connection between that.
That's why I did the course started in Taiwan from 2006,
and looking forward to do the course too in US, or Europe-in the future.

Both of that are deeply cultural and so chinese ^^,
but they both are getting popular all over the world.
Non-Asian eager to know everything about the chinese culture,
Taichi and Calligraphy are the core of that,
are the reason why we grewth by this way now.

Including Tao philosophy,body-mind-spirit health way,and culture history pass etc.-
both of them are.
And all need the "time" to make it getting better and better.


In my opinion,a little different between them-
TaiChi is good to learn,but hard to know deeply;
Calligraphy(I mean Su-Dao ~more spiritual less on figure) is good to know,but hard to learn deeply-especially for the learning from overseas-I think.

Maybe I could translate some for you.

In the traditional way in Taiwan,

the judge must be the master.

But some problem come out-

because the competitioner always belong to some particular group,

the master charge the group or team or school,

you know,

who will be the first place always depend on who is the judge.

But now,

you are our judge,

on the website,all over the world.

You might not recognize the word(we say like "Si ˋ"),

could not understand what the meaning for(this character is meaning for "something"),,

but you really could try to do one thing-

to tell us,

which one you like best.
