We could also d0 the calligraphy on the ground,

actually our ancients they usually wrote something on the ground-

with watering the penbrush only,

or put the sand on it to break the line.

In 2005,

I went to The Mainland China for joined the TaiChi competition in Zen-Zuo city,He-Nan province,

one time I walked across the park,

I saw a little girl squatted down and took the penbrush wrote some beautiful characters very seriously.

She just wrote the every single words on the little tiles,

How amazing they were.

Basicly we taught students to write the larger character is good enough at the beginning.

Good crafsmanship depends on use of the right tools

Tried the biggest penbrush,

to well-knowing

What's the limit you could control by the tool.

Penbrush opening

A new penbrush is hard,not soft.

If you like to use it,you need to "open it"first.

With some of water(normal temperture is fine,not so hot or cold),

put the new penbrush in,

useing your fingers to give lots of pressure on the feather,

and turn the penbrush around all the time,

till the feather becoming very soft,

no hard anywhere.

After that,

you could enjoy your new penbrush to do anything you like to do it.^_^

If you watch calligraphy by "taichi mind",

you will find the interesting point of view-

not always making the perfect characters on the paper is right thing to do,

sometimes calligraphor just to do one thing-

for

BALANCE

between black and white,

big and small,

fast and slow,

up and down,

raise and sink,

out and in

.......

It's Calligraphy,

it's Taichi.

How to make kids love taichi?

It's not easy for every taichi teacher to make little kids love taichi chuan-i think.

Because in their world,always are full of games,comics,cartoon,plays,

not so be quiet,not so inside-looking,not so deepen mind,so unstable for everthing .

We tried so many ways to make them loved to move speed-slower,

and did exercise sweated,concentrated their mind at taichi movements....

It's real hard,

but worth to do that.^_^

Because they need the chance to know themselves more.....

This is my first time

The kids they are 6-9 years old,

first time to write the large piece by calligraphy.

Lower than 10 years old kids,

we usually do not teach them to do calligraphy before,

it must be impossible for the little kids.

Nobody did that,

But we did.

At the beginning I am not sure it's good for them to learn,

but I tried to change the method,and designed some plays for them,

let them didn't feel boring,

step by step,

now they all learned more than half year,

and they will come along with me.

What a difficult for them to do so.

How long you can stay in?

When you wrote a large piece of calligraphy,

you have to sit so long,

because you need to contained the stable mind to finish that,

otherwise you will make some mistakes on your paper-

whatever the size was,or the position was,or the power was,

or your chi(breath) was.

It must be the "ONE"

so you need to be the "ONE" too-

You could sit longer,

the "ONE" will be stronger.

Good friends between Taiwan and Japan

lots of Japanese calligraphor showed their beautiful characters.

This piece it's mean"Taiwan and Japan are very good friends".

Used the ancient characters from the oldest china.

In my taichi and calligraphy course one day,

they showed me what they wrote on the board,

piece by piece,

and I told them,

how to make it better.

TaiChi and Calligraphy are all the same,

All you need to do is,

keep on going.

Where you could find the real calligraphy?

The calligraphy,

for real,

everythere-in the ancient.

Every memorial place,

you could find the calligraphy stela.

They always was made by some authority to tell people what they like to say.

Now,

you could find them in the temples~almost.

And they are very old..old..old...

(The new stela not always wrote by hand,

maybe by computer made.)

made in Ching Dynasty in LuGuang Tai-Ho temple,Taiwan

As the same as the master did,

is my homework,

my practice.

Forget who I am,

just follow he(or she) ,

is very important when you like to do calligraphy very well.

Travel around this island

Travel around this island - Taiwan by bike

must be lots of fun,

and full of challenge.

I never did it like that,

but I drove by car to go like that ever.

It's worth to do so,

because Taiwan is a beautiful island.

Wish I have the chance to do like the biker did.^_^

The TaiChi park in Taiwan

Lots of foreigners come to Taiwan just wish to find the TaiChi master in the park

It's really a special view in Taiwan,

you could see lots of people do the TaiChi form in every little park.

(In Mainland China-also.)

But

Now,

more TaiChi teacher have their own school or college,

not just teach in the outside field.

We really need someone to be the window to tell them-the TaiChi lover,

Where they could find the master all over the little island.

These two characters are the same words,

we say "Kong"

It's mean the very gorgeous and beautiful building like a palace.

We always said

the character is as the same as the calligraphor's personality,
