The balance

always need to have both sides,

not only one.

keep it on the flowing situation,

it is good for the sistem,

I didn't know exactly what I'd truly understood today,

but it is a really huge explosion for me-

in the taichi lesson.

Guoshu 國術

國術主要由以下若干部分組成:

The main components of Guoshu are as follows-

套路Taolu
套路:以攻防動作為基礎組織而成的拳械演練
Taolu(martial arts sets) :performance of unarmed and weapon routines that consist of a series of offensive and defensive movements.

射箭Shejian
射箭:使用多種材質製作的複合式弓箭是中國式射箭最大的特點,大致劃分為徒步或騎射.
Shejian(archery):Chinese archery is distinguished by the use of composite bow,and its competition is divided standing and horseback archery.

散手Sanshou
散手:綜合拳,腳,摔技術的徒手搏擊
Sanshou(free sparring):unarmed sparring that integrates boxing,kicking,and throwing techniques.

摔角Shuaijiao
摔角:在角抵,相撲,蒙古式摔跤等摔跤技術基礎上產生的摔跤法,成熟定型於清代.
Shuaijiao(wrestling):a method of wrestling based on historical precedents such as jiaodi,xiangpu,and Mongolian boke which attained maturity in the Qing Dynasty.

長兵Changbing
長兵:以棍,槍等長兵器的形制與技術為基礎發展而來的器械格鬥.
Changbing(long-range weapon):armed combat with long-range weapon based on fighting techniques in staff,pole,spear,etc.

短兵Duanbing
短兵:以刀,劍,鞭,鐧等短兵器的形制與技術為基礎發展而來的器械格鬥
Duanbing(short-range weapon):armed combat with short-range weapon based on fencing techniques in dao and jian.

其他衍生部份:龍舟,舞龍舞獅,毽子,測力,彈弓,石鎖,飛叉等
Other components:dragon-boat racing,lion-dancing,dragon-dancing,jianzi(shuttlecock),celi(weight-lifting),dangong(pellet-shooting),shisuo(stone weight),etc.

A professional specialty

Everybody has his(her) own specialty,

depend on what you done more in the time river.

What's yours?


You might say,
I don't know exactly what is my speciaty.
Sun rise sun set,
spring cool summer hot,
day by day,
nothing special.


Sure,
it's not easy to find out,
the keypoint is,
find what you are and what you want first.

As you know,
Nicker
is my TaiChi friend,
I knew he had the perfect fighting in New York City recently,
How proud to be his friend!!

He is a good fighter,
as you konw,
but I will not be the fighter too,
that's awesome,
not mine.
I'm me,
I have my own specialty.
Whatever we are both the Taiwan TaiChi lover and practitioner.

Even Josh,
the eight times first place owner at Chess competition in USA,
and the great TaiChi Master in New York City too,
we all love TaiChi so much,
but he own his professional specialty,
to combine the chess and taichi area make a new way to see how to be an excellent guy.
That's new,and good to people.

I don't know pushing hands and chess at all,

but I have some calligraphy image in my mind,

so I tried to make them different from before,

that's what I done,

and love to do more in the future.

TaiChi is a huge concept,

you could translate the old become new what you like to be.

That will be yours.

Time to make tree grow up,to make flower blossom,
also to make some technics become a perfect specialty,
depend on what you like to do,
and what kind of person you like to be.

Even I need to come back to be a normal teacher in school,
a office worker,
but it's fine,
still me.

My muscle,my blood,my breath,
all among the atmosphere what I like to be in the future.

Change

The beauty of Taiwan

Taiwan is changed,

after the typhoon beated us.

We also need to change some,

to fit the world as possible as we could.
